Level up exploit?

So today I was leveling up my miner by Cedarwood. I noticed that by the node, there were a group of people standing still.....they were all standing on top of one another. I figured they might be afk, but I noticed one of them activating leves. I just stood and waited because I found it odd that nobody moved.

I decided to checked them and one of them was at level 48, wearing the gear you start the game with (all level 1 stuff). After a few minutes, he leveled up. One person kept activating the quest and within 5 mins, it was over and a one of them leveled up to 49 (they were all at 48, btw). I noticed because while mining I would keep looking over at the node and saw another quest get activated. Nobody moved

So...is this some sort of exploit being used? There was nobody in the surrounding area doing anything so it's not like somebody could have been doing leves once they were activated. The entire party was standing still.

It's RMT. They're basically running leves just for the gil. They do it at Cedarwood because when it's done they can port to the camp right next to town, thus maximizing their time.

They are farming Karakul Fleece from Godwin Goodgoat Faction Leve. They just kill all the Karakul then fail and redo the leve by spending 1 leve allowance each mule.

i just dont get why there even is RMT, not only is the games populations one of the lowest around, but gil is pretty easy to get. FFXI...i 100% get why they would make a killing there though.

World of Warcraft has a huge RMT problem, and getting money in that game is easier than it is in XIV. No matter how easy it is, it's always easier to pay someone else for it.
