A lot of these terms are used in abusive ways to attack other players, and I don't really see the need to be using such terms as names for Players, FCs, Linkshells, etc. It just isn't necessary.

Is there a reason you have to "validate" yourself by using a term that has become "vulgar" in the eyes of the general public? Is there a reason you have to "validate" yourself at all by slapping a label on yourself? Why not just be yourself without needing to wear a giant sign?

This is what I never understood about the LGBTQ community -- they feel like they have to advertise their LGBTQ status to everybody instead of just being themselves and going about their daily life. I don't advertise my heterosexuality, why should you advertise whatever you are?

Just pick an FC name that you feel describes the personality of your FC the best, and if you are building an FC purely based upon the LGBTQ thing, then eh... I'm not sure that's a good idea to be honest. Is your FC for social gatherings? Is it for clearing content? etc. Those are the kinds of things you should be considering while making an FC/FC Name. You started out with a Lalafell -themed FC and that's fine... I've seen race FCs before, but you change race and want to change it. So perhaps now, make it for Miq'ote instead. *shrug*

But allowing "vulgar" (as they are considered by the majority of society) terms in names is not the answer. Sorry, I just can't agree with this.
