45 mins in prime time for instances, is this serious?

So basically I'm an European residing en the PH right now. By choice I would surely play on the Chaos datacenter, but my location makes endgame activities very difficult in terms of ping and latency, thus I decided to transfer to a Japanese datacenter. The latency is awesome and nice so far.

But because this is a preferred world, duty finder is a living hell if you're not a tank or a healer, which means ~45 mins aprox per instance. Consider that I made a new character just to play in this server and need to play lots of instances through the MSQ.

Yes, it is that bad. I'm told instancing is datacenter-wide. Is that true? if so, why is it that the queue for duty finder takes so long?

That's how it is everywhere as the most played role DPS. Get use to it or switch to tank or healer

Adjust your duty finder language settings (gear symbol, top left of DF menu) so both English and Japanese are ticked. Should bring queue times down to 10-15m for a DPS.
