How would the playerbase feel about buying a housing plot from the MogStation?

Simple cause SE need to get off they ass and just give us more wards whenever the last one added fills up.

Well at the same time that would cost them more in work hours and server space and so forth. And as adding more wards in congested servers would be counterproductive for them since they're using the housing as an incentive i doubt they'd do it for "free" on these servers. (i know we pay a sub but i think you get what i mean.) Though I'm with you, I wish they would just add wards with the demand.

Honestly? At this point, I wouldn't even care anymore.

If people are fine with the mog station as is, they'll be fine with housing in there as well. There'd be a lot of complaining at first, but ultimately, there's be no hit in subscriber count, no hit in mog station purchases and thus no reason for SE to care about the complaints.

They could have simply done Instance Housing like Wildstar... but no they want it to feel like a neighborhood where people gather and meet their next door neighbor... look how that system backfired... Also OP most will disagree with you just saying.

I don't mind people disagreeing with me, I wanted to check with peoples opinions on the matter. If it starts a dialogue and if people come with feasible solutions to the issue I'd consider the thread a success.

Nope, housing needs to be revamped and customization improved (we can't even resize furniture!). Keep wards but also introduce instanced housing, they can use the new raid lore if they wanted.

Adding more housing is not the solution as the system itself is flawed.
Instanced housing would solve much, and one would have figured they would at least have looked into it for SB seeing how bad housing was since introduced

They need a real revamp of housing before I consider such idea. The existing system is far too bad I spend money on it. Currently, my reply is just "no".

It's bad enough that they're forcing us to pay to alleviate the problems of their current inventory situtaiton.

I did chuckle a bit, walking through the brand new housing area on my server and seeing it still completely empty.

I realize most are waiting for the price to hit its lowest and all, but it does make me giggle. All that bark for a new area and no bites thus far.

Wish they would just scrap this dumb housing and use the storage space for something else. My "neighbors" are barely ever around as is.

As others previously said, housing needs to be instanced like FFXI. There are so many good things this game would take from XI without actually losing its identity.

With the way they price stuff have fun paying $20-50 extra a month for the house.
