I honestly feel like this is already the case, especially with the auto demolish timer....you have to reuse i.e spend money to actually refresh the house.

Mogstation, really?
I've been playing since 2015 and already got myself a house. It's not impossible.
I do like that we got neighborhoods and not only instanced houses. If you do like instances though, there's the apartments. Or you could request actual instanced houses, with more stories and rooms and whatnot.

I think it's mainly regarding the fact that there are practically no houses available anywhere on some of the servers due to people buying multiple to sell for more at a later date, or to have one in each zone.

Personally, the MogStation idea is not ideal. Them adding more wards would be, but they also need to limit the number of houses people can buy in a district.

Yeah but I got one :O There weren't any available, yes you have to hunt this which may not be ideal for some. And yes, I work full time, and have a life and blah blah. But I wanted a house, and was determined to get one so I did.

Never mind limiting the number of houses people (single players) can buy in a district, they need to limit it to one personal house per server, per account, and an additional allowance for 1 Free Company house if the player is a FC master also.

The redistribution of player population to new and underpopulated servers over time will help things, and it seems to me that SE wants much of that movement to happen before they open Shirogane specifically to ease the immediate rush for housing.

I think they need to deal with multiple personal houses per server/account before opening Shirogane as well since it's completely obvious that there are players with the resources and willingness to abuse the situation for personal gain at the expense of other players.

Paying in any way on Mogstation for housing is a non-starter at this point. It shouldn't even be discussed in jest. It's a bad, bad idea.

See even though I know you don't want these things, your post comes too close to sounding serious...triggered.

IMHO the auto-demolition timer shouldn't start until a player's subscription ends. Also, it's a 45 day timer, and I agree with that duration since it provides 6 weeks for a player to re-sub before losing their house.

Again, it depends on the server. Some it will be much easier than others to get a house on. I myself am going to do my best to get a house when the new district opens, but if I fail at that, then who knows.

Definitely, I myself(mostly because I don't craft and am somewhat of a hoarder) almost have enough to buy a Medium based on the current price listed by the NPC. I'm hoping to get one, but if I can't get one of those, maybe a small instead. If I get luck with the medium, I will definitely start crafting more so I can furnish it cheaper.

Funny part is SWTOR has RNG gambling boxes (for everything including in-game currency AND GEAR) and they have a subscription model. It's also one of the lowest populated AAA MMO's.

I do hope that SE has morals and wont add cash shop gambling, but part of me worries after seeing what happened to SWTOR.
