Training Chocobos n Stables

The xp scales up yes, but the % of the total you get past lvl 10 goes down. Just tested on a few chocobos in the stables (stable is sparklin clean):
lvl 7: 1%
lvl 12: .79%
lvl 17: .55%

Edit: Skimming posts and not thinking clearly... the issue is likely the stables needing to be cleaned as Zetsumei pointed out. It'll give the maximum experience reward if it's sparkly clean.

Just out of curiosity where did you get that info from? i started testing it on my alternate and don't really see it. Anything from SE?

I just subtracted the number before from the number after, multiplied that by 100 and divided it by the total number required for that level.

So on the lvl 17 chocobo for example:
Before feeding: 1238788/3174000
After feeding: 1256558/3174000

1256558 - 1238788 = 17,770
17,770 x 100 = 1,777,000
1,777,000 ÷ 3,174,000 = 0.55-ish
