Direct Hit with Base Stat?

Susano Ex tonight, WHM with 364 Direct Hit. No DH melds, no DH on gear. I have 3 direct hits, one of which being a direct crit. I thought 364 was baseline zero?

364 is the baseline for level 70, yes, but baseline has nothing to do with zero gains from a stat.
With the baseline amount of a stat you will always get the baseline effect of a stat.
Also most stats are only a boost to the effect of the stat you would even have with 0 of that particular stat.

All the data I've seem says 364 should give zero direct hits. I've never seen a Direct Hit without explicits melds, or in tonight's Susano. Perhaps there are party buffs that increase Direct Hit rate?

BRDs Ode gives +15% DH every 2(?) minutes.
