I'd like to start by saying thank you devs for all the work and updates
Concerning the battle system as it is now, it feels slow because we do not have the old "free cost" actions anymore i.e. light thrust, heavy thrust.
The weapon skills by themselves feel useless and weak.
And it seems we are forced to use combos as the only option to do any type of significant damage.
I do feel that I am able to kill faster because in total the combos are doing more damage, but I also feel I'm doing a lot of waiting.
Could we lower cool down time and decrease combo dmg to make the fight feel faster? Or add "free cost" actions back and have a single 1000TP skill that does medium dmg and fast cool down?
Or whatever the devs can think of to fill in the gap while i'm waiting for my combo to cool down - watching my char auto atk is quite boring

I will admit, the combo system does make all of our lower level WSs useful. Before I'd just use doom spike and chaos thrust.
I'm having a lot of dead time between the combo cool downs though =/
