Love the PvP Hotbar Skill Button Changes, but...

This was discussed quite a while back but we didn't have PvP combo consolidation back then.

Honestly, I agree with it, at least as an option, because a lot of combos are just button bloat. You're never going to say, use Maim before Butcher's Block. It's always going to be Skull Sunder.

Healers still need all skills seperated.

Healing is so janked in PVP since we have so few tools verses DPS/Tanks having everything super consolidated.

Though, having this as an option for PVE wouldn't bother me one bit, it just can't be a catch all to every job simce not every job has a samey 1-2-3 combo.

Just remember that Royal Authority comes off of Riot Blade as well so it isn't quite that simple.

Easy enough, just leave one of the finishers standalone. Better yet, make the combo customisable.

No need, in PvP, PLD has two combos Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> Rage if Halone and Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> Royal Authority.
PLD also has two combo buttons for these, both with the Fast Blade icon by default.
Pressing any of them will make Combo 1 button become Savage Blade and Combo 2 button become Riot Blade (that is, you can press 1 -> 2 -> 2 or 2 -> 2 -> 2 for the Royal Authority combo).

Therefore, they would just have to make a third combo button Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> Gloring Blade.

Didn't Yoshi-P mention it's not in PvE because of positionals? That it had something to do with your skills actually checking your placement as opposed to your target (not just range) as an additional check in PvE that would cause problems if they did it like in PvP? At least I can remember him mentioning something like how they could do it in PvP because they abolished positionals in there.
