    Stop rewarding tanks/healers! We all put in the same effort.

    This applies mostly to tanks, but on occasion healers.
    Some of us generally dislike the way tank and healer roles play. I dont think its fair to constantly reward those roles with bonus items (ie: cracked clusters, mounts, gil,etc.)

    They already have various rewards at their disposal. They do not need MORE. If anything, DPS deserve MORE. We're the ones that have to sit through outrageously long queue times and we put in the exact same amount of time and effort (if not more) than any other role in the duty.

    In the interest of fairness, start making some rewards for DPS or stop doing this.

    (To the posters after me, flame away, I'll not be reading the remainder of this thread as it is personal feedback and my piece has been said.)

    Seriously though, the adventurer in need bonus applies to whatever class there isn't enough of, and this has actually been DPS on rare occasion.

    Players will earn rewards for playing whatever is needed to keep the queue flowing. Simple as that.

    If you want to protest you could just never meld materia again so that the tanks and healers have slower runs and cannot make any money off their new toys. Or you could just accept that this mindset is silly. And ignoring the existing threads just to make one all for yourself where you boast about not reading any responses is rather rude.

    These are meant to incentivize those roles since queue times for DPS are abysmal at times. Granted, what they added isn't all that effective since tanks will just spam leveling for a couple times or queue with friends and stop once they're bored/have enough materia. A better alternative might be rewarding players for longer queue times. Scaling the EXP or tomestones at least makes the wait worthless. Tanks may complete three dungeons in the time it takes a DPS to queue into one, but if said DPS got extra EXP it would balance out more.

    SE isn't rewarding tanks and healers SE is rewarding adventurer in need

    so it is possible that a DPS could get that reward if they are in need

    rewards are a way to reduce queue time

    Problem is then tanks/healers would be working harder than dps for the same outcome.
