Which healer to go for?

Heya, so I've gotten my Rdm to level 70 and while I love it so much, I can't help but feel I need to have a healer as well since I got this feeling that I'll be forced to be a healer soon enough. Anywho, I was just wondering what healer I should go for. At the moment I have Whm at 51, Sch at 60, and Ast at 57. Ideally I'd probably go Sch since it's already 60 and I can just dungeon grind to 70, but I keep seeing on the boards that it's bad so should I go for one of the other healers instead?

If it helps any, I was a Sch/Whm main for a bit in 2.0-2.2.

If you like SCH go for that. The only place it's lacking a bit is AoE, but it remains a very solid job. Unless you're a world first raider, it really doesn't matter.

Well, I don't really know if I like Sch or not since it has been a long time since I've played it. Actually I don't have much opinion on any of the healers aside of my feeling that Whm feels a bit bland in the graphical effects of its heals, but that is it. Though I guess it would make the most sense since it is already 60 and would be easier to get set up for grinding to 70.

SCH is fine, unless you're progression raiding. Then I'd say go AST.

Until they address the many issues from the Nerf that SCH was hit with in 4.0, I would suggest AST or WHM over SCH as it is now. I'm a SCH main and have gone back to level up my AST to play until they fix SCH if that tells you anything.

I'm sticking with my scholar. I'd find which play style you prefer and stick with it. Just FYI contrary to some of the reports on the forums I have cleared everything I've attempted on my scholar. Yes it could use some love but overall it can still get the job done.

Still get the job done but the margin for error is much /MUCH/ lower than before, and sadly we don't have anything we stand out with beyond the other healers. Personally I'm sticking with SCH as I feel I accomplish more and I like the hands on challenge of it, but it does need a good bit of love.

All of the healers are playable if you've never played them before. Play all of them a few levels, and see which feels right. When you get to competitive raiding, then we can talk about 'best'.

How about the only reason one should actually chose scholar (or ANY other Job, that exists in the Game): Because he likes the Job design more than the others, and he likes the playstyle in general?

Would YOU change your main class to one that's absolute not fun for you, because it is on paper 2% stronger?

People should stop going on what some kids call "meta" or hat numbers on Paper look good.

Every healer combination is playable. Every Healer combination WILL be able to clear every content, including Omega Savage.

As soon you have 2 healer jobs you like equally, THEN you can start looking for pros and cons. Everything else is stupid. This is a GAME, it's supposed to be FUN.

See whm: People hated the shit out of it on the leaks, called it Garbage, Broken, not useable, not playable, noone will play it.
What is now? fine and perfectly playable. Only thing that got changed is a much fastrer Lilly generation. Anything else remained the same. sure, 70 Skill needs an overhaul, but still. Even if nothing changes: A perfectly playable Healer for savage.

Now everyone hates on scholar.

Like i said before: let the Kids be kids, and play the job YOU prefer most. Because it's YOUR Fun, not THEIRS.
