Stormblood glam is kinda..

I've heard that a large portion of the ff14 community requested the current glamour style (bulky, dark armor), but I've also noticed that a HUGE amount of players across social media rave about the Shisui gear and fox ears. There're a large amount of females playing the game, but so many job outfits, other than healers, look more masculine (we don't all play healers). Ff has some colorful areas to explore but a lot of them are mildly-colored. That, combined with dark brown/green/black gear, is depressing tbh.

Ff14 attracted me because of all the customization options for $14/month- with SB everyone looks the same. I feel like an old bag of cloth and metal when wearing the new stuff. I've been subbed for 2 years and there are a lot of nice outfit options up until now, but I bought SB to try new glams.

I do appreciate the effort the team has put into the designs. It would be nice to have a wider variety and brighter colors as well. Also outfits above the ankles lol.

The dungeon sets are great (apart from that one disappointment that is just a recolor of an old tomestone gear).
However I really don't like the Omega set. It's bulky and you generally look like you wouldn't fit through the door when wearing it.
Anyways, that's just my opinion and I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people who like it. You can't please everyone.

Each dungeon has its own style; the cool thing about Glamours is that you pick the style that suits you. Don't like bulky Omega suits? Then maybe Shisui is for you. Don't like strutting around in a swimsuit? I rather liked some of the suits from Bardam's.

Or you don't even have to go with Stormblood; there are some suits of gear from Heavensward, or even Vanilla, that were rather decent too.

With all of the suits of gear in the game, there's SOMETHING to suit you SOMEWHERE. Just because Stormblood is the "in" thing, doesn't mean you can't use some forgotten set that you never see anywhere from one of the older dungeons. In fact, using Vanilla/HW stuff makes you stand out because everybody is using SB (or Thavnarian, lol) stuff nowdays.

The expansion just dropped, and there's still several patches worth of content to look forward with new gear sets and new recipes for glam. Please look forward to it!

I really liked the PvP gear this time around. That being said the Omega gear looks awful imo. And some of the gear is basically reused gear. But a few of the dungeons have some unique pieces. Overall however, I am less than impressed with glamour at this point for SB. But there will be more added gear. So I will patiently wait for something new to grab me

On a side note, the game really needs more options for dying said gear. Allow us to dye 2 - 3 areas of the gear instead of applying a generic wash of one color to the whole item(s).

Omega gear is the ugliest gear they have ever done in the game thus far.

However, a lot of the dungeon sets are great. I love the Shisui sets and I also love most of the sets from Castrum Abania (the Valerian sets). Some of the Valerian weapons are so nice they almost look like relic weapons to me.
