I suppose they could make the moogles sight aggro across the entire arena, or something similiar.
On a side note OP is grossly misinformed and exaggerating, but I think we all already knew that.
Or maybe they should just not waste their time with this juvenile bullshit, and keep working on hotfixes and patches.
Its not something that is fun to use or should be intended when starting the fight but if a pt dies i dont see why they shouldnt be able to raise themselves and keep going at the cost of a run down clock. It's really not as big of an issue as everyone seems to think it is. It absolutely does not guarantee a win like the OP seems to think.
Also I wish ppl would quit bitching about how this game is "broken" or whatever, it accomplishes nothing to keep going on and on about it. If u dont like it then quit, we'll see u when its shiny next year, shiny seems to attract NA people.

Yeah it's pretty bad. DoW on our server exploited the absolute hell out of it and I think its hilarious to see the leader claiming they should stop it now. If you watched his live feed thats how they won it the first time.
What they need to do is, if the mobs de-agro 100%, reset the fight 100%. Despawn all the others and put it back to the gladiator and problem solved. That's what happens in most boss fights in most games.
For the record and let it be clear. Myself, Arania Kincross, Vasage Astrial, Sanctus Thefarter (Yes thats his name we dont judge), Cujis Blacksmith, Cookie Bandit, Buju Fya, and Kirana Fiore. OP is stupid as shit. This exploit is available anywhere in Eorzea, not just in that stupid instance.

Go to tvtropes.org and look up "combat pragmatist" before you start deciding what is a legit kill. For all we know, SE intended the "exploit" to be there, seeing as it gives lower DPS parties a chance to complete the fight. Using the exploit is still not a guaranteed win however.Exactly.
How is it an exploit when this is how the game mechanics actually work?! Raising from death, recovering without triggering aggro and then restarting the fight is a strategy used over and over in many different forms.
Like I said, the only way this is an actual exploit is if the moogles not aggroing to sight is intentional. But I agree with Vanguard - who is to say SE didn't specifically make it so moogles didn't aggro to sight, in order to enable this very strategy. Who is it say that wiping and raising isn't the exact method the SE dev team uses themselves.
