I think the power and life surge abilitys are perfectly fine. Combat gets more fast paced that way. "Woah shit, 0 seconds *rebuff*"

But dread spikes... I try to see the advantage in this skill, when doing GC Leves i get around 110~ HP gain from hits of a level 49 mob... It seems the amount of hp gain depends on the damage the mob is capable of doing and your life surges/power surges previously stacked. In the moogle fight i get higher HP gains, a result of getting more damage?

I use it rarely, only in wtf moments when i take serious damage and aggro, alongside other damage reducing skills. The HP gain from dread spikes is so low and only happens once, while the life gain of 3 stacked life surge remains and does almost 80% of the hp gain from dread spike each AA!

Do i miss something important, or is it really not that good of an skill?
