It's because I have a switch, and I like the controller itself. It would work great with both games I currently play the most. I think I should borrow my bf's controller and test it out. Will let you know how it goes!I have been using pc Xbox one controller and it works great. I don't really have any solutions for you but can I ask why not an Xbox controller since it's basically plug and play?
If it's personal preference then I hope you get it working, I mean either way I hope you get it working lol, mostly just wondering why.
Cool sounds good! I also have a switch and pro controller, it's an nice controller I use a lot when in docked mode
Hopefully you get it to work Good luck![]()
The game will use any controller your computer recognizes, but it won't let you do anything special that the controller can do with its native console. I can't even get the Dualshock 4 touchpad to work even though there's an option for it.
The Nintendo Switch controller can only be used on PC via a bluetooth connection, so if your computer doesn't have bluetooth you'll have to buy a USB dongle. While the controller is detected through USB, but doesn't actually let you use it through USB. (I know, I tried on my bluetoothless desktop gaming rig. Only got it to work when pairing it on my laptop with bluetooth).
As for actually using it, it's certainly playable. Though I'd imagine it might take some getting used to to do the D-pad abilities since the sticks are asymmetrical.
