Don't forget the PS4 users!

I know SE is already aware that an improper shutdown makes the PS4 download the whole 22 GB, but it had been a while now and the problem is still there. So please fix it and do a follow up on this issue.

I thought PS4 users learned years ago that improper shut downs corrupt save game data?
Would the XIV save data be affected regardless?

I've had it happen once but people seem to be having it quite frequently. I'm genuinely shocked nothing has been done about it yet especially after that 80 plus page thread.

Its in Sony's court now, SE has passed it on. Nothing they can do about it.

Save Data is not affected and the improper shutdown comes from power outage is not that people are unplugging the PS4 cuz they want too >.>

Still is a problem and SE should push whoever needs to fix this.

SE can push but at the end of the day, with all their exclusives already planned onto the PS4 platform, it's not as though they have much of a ransom to hold lol.

PS - would recommend to ps4 users you either buy or borrow an external until this is sorted, will save you so much bandwidth.

Get a battery back up so you have time to shut down when the power goes out if you are in a area that has frequent outages.
