    Exclamation Unable to complete version check?

    I am having this error only today:

    Unable to complete version check:
    [30410][30607][10009][19900][12175]

    What do those numbers mean? How can I get it to work? I didn't have this problem yesterday. Nothing changed in router. It's not a router problem, works fine with PS4.

    Edit:
    PC version launcher is version 2017.06.05.0000.0001 and PS4 version launcher is 2017.06.28.0000.0001... Is there a manual launcher installer for the newest version?

    Two of those error codes relate to DNS settings so try changing your DNS to something like the google public DNS server. The primary is 8.8.8.8 and secondary is 8.8.4.4 you can change them via router settings or via adapter settings and this guide includes the method of changing at PC level via adapter settings https://developers.google.com/speed/...dns/docs/using if you need further help I will check back in this thread but this should fix the issue.

    Some things you can do to help with this if you have not.

    Go into the internet options and reset it. (Windows 7 will require you to either get to it through the control panel or just open up IE and navigate to the options and then click on the advance tab) (Windows 10, quickest way is to click on the start button and type internet o and it should pop up there to open it.)

    Another thing you might need to do is make sure that the windows firewall is not blocking the launcher.exe. The launcher, not the ff14.exe, is trying to check the update.

    To add more to this, you need to make sure the launcher runs in admin mode.

    Finally, there is a gear symbol in the launcher. You can click on that and there should be an option to reset the settings for the launcher. This will help it to make sure the folder it needs exists.
