Server transfer question/help

Hello fellow Eorzians, I want to leave the server I'm currently on which is leviathan because it's just a bit to big, plus with housing coming I know I wont be able to get a house in time cause how people are, my first question is does anyone know the lowest population NA server? and also is it true you can only bring 1m gil with you or something? and if I was to transfer to Europe for free on one of those low servers would my ping be bad there?

Any of those should be fine I guess.

Gil limit has been increased to 999,999,999.

I'd suggest that you stay on NA or test your ping on EU with an alt and compare results.

Mateus seems to have gotten a boom with the latest push to get people off of congested worlds, to the point it's currently closed during peak hours for character creation. Likewise it's the server where two people bought out an entire ward so the supply is already limited.

So those servers you listed goblin, etc are really low? so if kugane housing came id have a good chance for house?

Those were the lowest at the time the incentives were released. From what I've heard recently Zalera seems to be about the same in terms of population so I might try there. However I don't have hard numbers on that.

unless someone has a link for a recent census (which would be from before the transfer incentives anyways), I'd recommend asking people to check the Jumbo Cactpot NPCs on each world. If you assume that each server has roughly the same % of players participating in the jumbo each week, you can use that number to rank server population
