So.. i wanted to level my Warrior a bit Today...

I roll War in all end game content atm with ease. No trouble with healing (even average healers) or whatsoever. Just learn when to pop your CDs and learn the fights. War is viable atm.

I had that happen a few times to me as well lol. The healer was like 'Oh look it's a Warrior!' - I think I was doing the last dungeon in SB. At first I didn't understand why he was surprised but looking back I guess I know now.

Things have gotten that bad eh?

I've already quit from the game anyway as my subscription ended today. I have no motivation to level up another class, and since I only like tanking I don't think there is another option for me at the moment.

Honestly, anyone treating Warrior like they're trash tier is just jumping on the stupidity bandwagon. They're not nearly as amazing as they used to be, but in dungeons they still reign supreme as far as I can tell. And regardless of what people say, they did become a better MT due to have access to rampart now, as well as near limitless inner beasts and short cooldowns. Their off tanking is now terrible, though. There's no way getting around that.

And the peoples reaction inside the dungeon was: " Omg why are people still playing WAR." Healer left the dungeon and the DPS soon followed as no new Healer came in.

I have thus far completely failed at having this problem.

I feel you. I've been playing since a bit late into ARR, and I've always gotten alot of crap for playing PLD and not being part of the meta.. Now I'm on the otherside and told I'm brain dead easy. Just ignore that crap and play what you feel like. It's about having fun in a game, not satisfying some jerk's want to tell you how to play that game.

People always have stories like this and I've NEVER in all my time playing this game have ever seen the much fabled "zomg you're playing garbage class 'x'? Get the fuck out!"

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but there's a lot of things this community exaggerates to a GREAT degree.
