There's not a 1:1 parity on the jobs but it's not like any class has ever been so bad you have to avoid it at all costs.

I think its the "Elitist attitude" that takes place more and more in this Game. Its also the Case for some Raidgroupes, if you dont Play a BIS Job, they wont take you in.

I think WAR is still viable, but from my experience, they seem squishier for some reason? I'm not entirely sure why considering they won't ever run out of CDs if they stay in Defiance.

exactly where the problem is, IF they stay in defiance.......the same problem pld and drk have too, without tank stance now all tanks feel squishy.

I leveled WHM to 70 and didn't have any trouble with WAR tanks. The degree of difficulty of the run was normally determined by how much the tank pulled and whether or not people dodged well in the fights. That WHM was likely a troll who was going to bounce anyway.

Na, more a "I am the BESTEST!!" sort of attitude that a bunch of really crappy players have. Most likely that healer would have said "OMFG a DRK? Seriously! BYEBYE" if it had been a DRK, had it been a PLD it would instead have been "If I even have to heal you once then your a pos tank and I will LEAVE!! #fakegodmode SAD!!". Some people are just shitty people with shitty attitude, this mostly go with them being shitty players.

to be honest right now through leveling dungeons it's all equal footing. Healers are trying way too hard to dps, tanks are still undergeared trying to gear up and learning fights, who should not be pulling so much. I mean dps looks pretty breezy as ever, with a singular job in most normal content to avoid aoes and just deal damage is to be expected, though I've run across some dps who like to rush ahead and pull some more. Once everyone becomes familiar with new rotations and fights with proper gear these problems will(hopefully) alleviate themselves.

Sounds like you were intentionally trolled. With queues the way they are for non-tanks, only a lunatic gets picky about what kind of tank you get. Hell, often people will close their eyes and just deal with it when you get a floor tank because you'd rather take the wipes instead of wait for an hour for a new one after kicking.

If it bothered you so much I suggest bringing friends or FC mates while leveling. Sometimes they're not the most skilled people, but it's always more fun when you know no one's going to be a jerk about it. ^_^

You can unleash 3+ Inner Beasts back to back along with even more defensive CDs and self heals ... I see no reason to be "squishier" than a PLD in dungeons.

It's more on the healer than anything else. The healer who left probably sucks and is looking to shift the blame on someone else.

Yea that's annoying if that really happened, but you're a tank, you could find another group faster than you could make this post probably. I get the bigger picture you're trying to allude to but is one random healer's opinion of a class or role he's probably never even played really this big of a deal? There are misinformed and melodramatic people in the thousands in this game - I wouldn't waste my time getting upset every time I encounter one.
