I dunno, that Cognitive Bias may be in play hereBut I don't find them taking that long imo, and it's less traffic in that area (ie other irritating mobs) so I kinda enjoy going to that hill to kill them.
Really? That is surprising, you're usually so easy to please.
I agree though, grinding monster mats is pretty tedious. Dunno why people would do it... farm something more profitable, swallow your pride, and buy them off the market board.
I realize I've been kinda outspoken about my dislike of the difficulty spikes 50->51 and 60->61 (though the latter is not quite as bad as I originally thought from first impressions), that doesn't mean that I complain about _everything_, lol. Once you finally break that brick wall in front of you, it isn't Too bad. I just wish the transition was a little smoother.
But yes, Leatherworker... eeew. There's a reason I skipped the entire Velveteen phase back during the 30s in WVR (and Fleece too), lol. Kinda hard to do, though, when the entire craft is like that.
I just think that it'd be better if they would smooth the drop rates out a bit. Instead of having, say, 5% drop chance of 1-3, maybe make it 15% chance to drop 1. That way, you'd get materials on a much more consistent basis, even if you'd break even on current rates, it would just feel better.
You kidding? I made 30k PER Skin, on the first two weeks XD
