That was incredibly satisfying to watchEnough to almost make me want to climb it all the way up again... almost!
Pity that the sightseeing log entry doesn't make the view any justice, though!
I think the minor run speed increase ROG/NIN gets makes the tower a lot easier to scale, as it gives you a bit of leeway with your jump timing.

The real question is, how many takes did making a perfect run video take?
Also, congratulations! I climbed it five times so far, personally, but my record was around six minutes with some fails. The last time I tried, I gave up after 20 minutes, so even after many successes, I still am very inconsistent with it.
Innocence doesn't mean an absence of wickedness, nor is it represented by the absence of anger or hatred. Innocence is when seeing others hurt also hurts you. When one becomes blind to the people suffering in the world, that is what it means to have lost one's innocence.

Less than you'd think! I only had one major screw up, on that one jump before you reach the balcony area near the top. The rest of the takes were just minor mistakes like mistiming the stair-like parts. Only took about 10 takes. Though that's not including my first time up there off camera which took hours! :P
I wasn't as lucky last night as I think I messed up about 8 times. But, when I made that last jump perfectly and got to the top it was so satisfying. Before that I think I've attempted the tower 5 times for a half hour each just slowly making incremental progress. Kind of want a T-Shirt now for beating Kugane tower because only those who play FF14 will get the reference.
