Controller issues

Hello fellow eorzeans. I'm a ps4p player and i was just wondering if anyone has noticed controller malfunctions since SB launched. Specifically, L2 causing your character to walk forward thus interrupting casts and random changes from running to walking when you turn with the left analog. Ive seen posts of this kind of issue in FFXIV in the past for controller but I'm just wondering if my controller is going kaput :/ would be sad since i havent even had it a year lol D: dropped it a couple times but id like to think just that wouldnt be causing this. Any feedback much appreciated

i had the same thing happen to me before stormblood, figured it was a problem witht he controller so bought a new one and the issue was solved

That is an issue with the PS4 controller itself. A quick temporary fix is to blow into the left joystick cavity. I don't know if it's caused by dust or debris getting inside but that will fix the issue for a while.

Thanks for the advice guys ill remember the latter for future. But i ended up juat getting a new controller. Needed a 2nd controller anyway :3
