only the sgms (senior) can do this, the one you spoke to was probly just a glorified customer service rep and didnt feel like bothering his boss, you might have better luck durring jp time getting ahold of an sgm as NA gms are just outsourced stooges

No, not really, I hope you're being sarcastic because one hour of mining will give you two stacks of ore, Achievement gear/Purchase gear is gone, You can get all the ore you want with a little effort, no amount of grinding, crafting, mining, or sifting through droves of random crap they shove on us in the form of makeshift events will return your gear to you, if you want it back the only option is to delete your character and start again.

This once happened to me back in 09 in XI, called GM and got my gun back within the hour, I think this game just doesn't have any real GMs or they have very few due to the game being free for so long.

In wow, you usually get your item back if you disenchant it via macro within 24-36 hours in the mail...just saying SE, just saying...

The only thing GMs can do in this game is tell you to Return if you get stuck and can't move, or go report bugs on the site. That's it. I was looted once in FFXI and lost my Black Belt and such forever. You just have to move on.

Nope, I never got it back.

Basically I was able to help the GMs by notifying them of the "mistake" under the GM interactions section that said they can help with item restoration, but in return I'm still stuck lol. I don't mind helping them any way I can but I'm still kinda meh about this.

Only chance I have of getting it back is if they make the achievements re-obtainable. Considering the game is going P2P in about a week, I think that's a fair compromise if GMs won't be providing item restoration services.

I remember in FFXI I dropped my ochidu kote and petitioned. They kept telling me they can replace one item only THIS ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN. Had to laugh since basically every other MMO provides this when mistakes happen.

Glad to see the dark ages continues here.
