Fix garbage triple triad drop rates

I've pretty much never posted here, but it's been a long night and I'm frustrated and hoping maybe something can come from me venting.

I've collected triple triad cards ever since they came out. The game is fun and I like collecting the cards. It's been rough getting them sometimes, but usually it's just a matter of persistence and you get them.

However, a couple of cards and their drop rates are bugging me immensely and I'm hoping that S-E is willing to somehow fix the garbage drop rate on them. Work in a system where if you don't get a card it flags a slightly higher rate for next time. I ran Thordan Extreme 30 times before I ever got his card. It's a tough fight and lots of people even in farm parties didn't know what they were doing. It was frustrating.

Now, there's a triple triad card gated behind The Royal Menagerie, and of course, the drop rate is garbage tier awful and it's one of the worst fights to do because it's a tough story one. It takes 30+ minutes each run because I have to talk newbies through it every single time (I get the odd great run maybe ever 4-5 runs) and I've done this 20+ times.

I just want the card at this point. I've helped so many newbies that I think I've earned it. I know nobody really cares about it, but I'm so close to completing my collection. Can you just up the drop rates on them so that I don't have to hate your game?

just wait for extreme mode in 4.1 and you'll get it as fast as all other primal cards (except thordan maybe, I still think they forgot a 0 when working on his droprate)

So.......you're saying a low drop rate is making you run the content more? Why would they change this?

Couple of points here.
1) You can edit your post to bypass the 1000 character limit
2) It's intentionally low so those who want the card will go at it again and again and again, helping get more and more people through the story. Perhaps though you could consider a farm party for it?

Feel sorry for you, I ended up getting the card on first clear then got it again on helping another LS member clear, I have ran Belsar wall 20 times and still haven't got Griffin card yet so... ring is rng

I'm experiencing PTSD flashbacks to running Ultros and Thornmarch literally hundreds of times for card drops. Luckily (and in addition to clearing it three times never having seen a wipe), Shinryuu gave me the card on my first run for the story.

Hi, I can speak as a TT card collector myself (currently only missing the one in Doma Castle). The drop rate is fine, it adds to its collectable value and it works as an excuse for SE to make people run content over and over, filling the seats in DF. Bear in mind that some cards will eventually drop from NPCs being introduced throught the expansion. As for cards like Shinryu, the encounters that now are "hard", will become easier overtime as people overgear it. There's no rush to complete your collection, just enjoy the journey.

They should just make a universal boss token drop (across literally every dungeon) similar to MGP that lets you buy dungeon minions, cards etc. Ie. Lvl 15 bosses give 1, 70 bosses give 100. Price for older minions is 15, price for newer ones is 1000 etc. (spitballin' random numbers, not a mathematician here lol)

RNG in dungeon drops usually just results in a farm party that sticks together until everyone gets their drop. It doesn't help the roulette queues at all. It's a nice bonus for dungeons but it does lock it out if your luck is awful.
