    Longer than a day <can I have it?>

    As most of us know, people are beating the moogle fight already. I really wish they would make stuff that would last a year to beat or something! Give stuff some longevity. Instance events should only be done once or twice a week, not back to back. They really need to change how instances should be done ; ;

    Aside the exploit, probably about to mention the fact you have to regain trigger items, which honestly isn't a problem, especially considering the one problem they already stated will be fixed (cross-species linking.)

    that really gets old quick when a random "spitefull" links and gets half you group killed. Also i agree with the OP, some long time events would be nice. For some reason stuff in FFXI always lasted, here we get stuff pounded through in a week and half the server is bored with it (or beaten it)

    Yeah, XI's content had very long life (and not because of drop rates because they were actually fine for an older MMO compared to Korean MMOs with 0.1% drop rates.) especially considering the cap remained at 75 for 6 years or so they were a lot more precise in content creation.

    As much as I'd like content that could last years..it seems that's not the way MMOs work anymore D:

    MMOs can work how ever the creator wants em to work, they need to be innovative, I don't want a bunch of instance fest, as my sig says. I want instances to be unique and fun. Content that lasts a long time. Those are for the hardcore players, that want the best everything. The reason why FFXI hand longevity is because you couldn't do things back to back to back. If you could do dynamis 100xs in a row, those relics would be pretty common.

    Then what was it? Because I'm pretty sure the only thing that kept people running Dynamis all those years was the crappy drop rate.

    XI is notorious for its use of low drop rates as a stopgap for any real content.
