Has anyone beaten leves without cheating?

I was out at an Aetheryte the other day minding my own business when I noticed this fellow who would appear at camp, run off and appear again a little later.

Curious, I followed him and discovered he was using a hate reset exploit to solo harder leves where he'd go all out to kill one mob then return after dying, rinse and repeat all the way to victory.

When will SE ban these obvious cheaters?

Well he is dying/returning so it really isnt a cheat per say or an exploit.

In fact he was probally just hurting himself cause all the running/fighting/returning/running again probally was taking him longer to earn exp than if he just fought mobs his own lvl or got an exp pt. So just be content to know he was inflicting a self punishment.

But he was able to continue the fight hate free until he engaged again. The mobs should keep hate and pursue the player even if they return. Either that or all the mobs in the leve should respawn.

Ah but your logic is flawed.

If you are pursued by the mob all the way back to the node or crystal than if you happened to be killed even on a leve set to your own lvl, there would be no real way to complete the leve with the mobs hovering over you waiting for you to revive to just kill you again when you do. That would render a leve an instant fail upon death. Ok for King Moogle ^_~ but not for a leve.

Also if you made your respawn tactic in play, well thats just a bigger exploit. 8/9 mobs killed, allow the last one to kill you, return, wait on weakness, run back and kill 8/9 again, rinse and repeat. 1 leve = endless mobs to kill.

He was wasting his time and getting less exp in the long run, just be content with the fact that hes a noob wasting his own time
