Can't level up

heh you can't overwrite your classes. What you can do is manually equip a class, not make a new save entry for that class, go and save that class, and that new class will get saved under another name, IE, being blm, not making a equipment/class save, quick saving it, and letting the new class / gear be saved under an existing entry such as GLD. Done that a crapton myself when i was new.

Ok, I'll forget about trying to explain what I think may have happened. To put it as simply as possible my character can be either a Black Mage or a Summoner. When I run a dungeon or complete a fate or quest the experience points do not flow to the character. hence it seems no matter what I do I will not be able to level up any further than the point at which I am now. I have the summoner stone equipped. Both expansion packs have been installed and registered. I am past the level 50 cap on my summoner.

You will always get xp rewarded to your base class. For Mage that is Tham, for Summoner, that is Arcanist.

The xp you get for your base class levels your jobs. Ie the Arcanist XP is what levelled Summoner to 51.

You have the expansions so you will continue to earn xp on all classes until they are 70. You have been earning xp on Summoner or else you would not be 51.

There really is no issue.

Hmmm are your expansions registered properly? Check your mogstation account and make sure your character matches your account. Hopefully you didn't create a whole new one. That would be the only reason I see why you can't level up. That or changing classes near end of fate were it cancels XP do to last second change. Kind of how leves work.

If I am getting experience points why doesn't it show on my status bar? That is y issue. Are they not supposed to show up on the screen? My total experience points don't change no matter which job I am in or which dungeon or fate I complete.

What does it say when you examine yourself? Blackmage of thurm? I can't fathom why you wouldn't be getting the xp if your smn is 51 unless maybe no do will be given to a class after 30? Idk I've never actually tried that. Make sure your soul stone is equipped if it is open a ticket with a gm and see if they can get to the bottom of it with you.

Check on Mogstation, which kind of expansion you bought and registered.
Seems like you have changed the plattform you are playing on and only registered the basegame ARR to it and the expansions to the old plattform.

You have to buy and register the game for every plattform you want to play on (PS4 and PC) seperately.
If you don't do this you can't, for example, level up on a platform you haven't registered Heavensward or Stormblood past 50.

As example:
You played on PS4 and registered ARR and Heavensward for this platform and you have registered only ARR on PC.
With this setuup you can only level up past 50 and gain experience past 50 if you play on PS4, if you would play on PC you wouldn't be able to log in to your character if you are only in a Heavensward area.
