[suggestion] Keybinds to Specific Jobs/Classes abilities

After the recent job changes as well as the addition to job gauges my HUD has gone under some massive reconstruction. For awhile I was struggling to find good visual spots to place my gauges and my abilities. I found that I would get a good spot for my gauge, then switch jobs only to realize, "Oh the gauge doesn't fit there because its shaped entirely different from the last." This translated too moving all my HUD Parameters constantly on each of my existing jobs that I had grown accustomed to during my time in the past. Now while I think that is an issue entirely separate from the one I'd like to talk about, it is however where mine spawned from.

During 3.X, we were at pretty high amount of abilities and my Hot-bars were starting to feel a bit "bloaty" However in Stormblood, the decision was made to remove a lot of those "extra" abilities, which I am extremely happy about. I now can click, my "Actions Tab" to find about 12 abilities, plus another 10 - 14 on my "Job Tab". I can't stress enough how good this feels.

Mixing this in with my earlier mentioned job gauge section, I was on a quest to clean my HUD up to allow space and easily visualize ability cool-down timers. This was truly a struggle, as my muscle memory from years of playing and hitting certain abilities specific to each job and looking around specifically for each jobs cool-downs wasn't going to leave me.

Now onto the actual suggestion: If it is possible, I would like to see dedicated options under the Keybind section to assign specific keys to specific abilities and weapon-skills of each job. I feel that a dedicated list of about the 30-40 abilities per job in the KeyBind section wouldn't hurt too much and would allow great visual customization in a player's Hud.

I'm not sure how this differs from having your hotbar keybinds set, and then placing abilities in the appropriate bar slots. Maybe I'm misunderstanding?

But it sounds like all you really need is to save some different layouts to your four hudlayout slots, then switch to the layout that best accommodates the current job. Repost from New Player Help forum:

If you do /hudlayout, you have four save slots. Each slot saves its own hotbar settings from /characterconfig.

So if you'd like to use different hotbar formats for different jobs, you would set them up in separate HUD layout save slots, then use a macro like this:

(Type /macros in the chat box to open the macro window, then make a macro with the following lines)
    Code:
    /gs change GEARSETNUMBER
    /hudlayout HUDSAVESLOTNUMBER
    /micon GEARSETNUMBER gearset

ex, changing to gearset 12 with HUD layout 4:
    Code:
    /gs change 12
    /hudlayout 4
    /micon 12 gearset

Er... the individual gauges are separate UI elements and can be positioned individually. The position of one shouldn't affect the others unless your UI is so tightly compacted that you can't adjust it.
