How many people have multiple houses?

Earlier tonight I read their tumblr post, and my heart sank. https://seraphaltima.tumblr.com/ I understand why they don't want to give up the things they rewarded themselves, but im very worried about what they are going to do when shirogane opens. Are they going to buy out another entire ward because 28 houses isn't enough? I just relinquished my current FC estate to someone that didn't have a house for free. I did it hoping that I would be able to provide a house for my FC in Shirogane. Reading all of this feels like im getting my hopes up, and more so the lack of reply from square.

Their argument was to "fill the holes"? and "Clearly no one else wanted them. People were leaving, not moving in" are asinine excuses to pad your own greed. You might not be flipping them or using them as FC houses for airship runs to flood the market boards, but it's still greed.

The minute this entitled, self absorbed player uses excuses like "Fill the holes" and "You come into my home/how dare me, how dare you etc" and especially the part about Mateus being flooded with new players was the minute they painted themselves an even bigger pile of elitist snot nosed brats.

First of all, and I really hope the blogger OP is reading this - this isn't a MATEUS issue, this is a server-wide, developer issue! You don't OWN Mateus, especially your ward. Your 28 houses wasn't obtained by two characters - don't kid yourself. You made the alts, transferred the money and then purchased them. You may of earned the money for them, and I commend your tenacity for it, but you weren't benefitting your world or "your home" at all. Buying 28 hours spanning many different alts was you taking advantage of a broken system the game devs overlooked. They're mostly at fault because they didn't look over that one fact that this was an exploit.

Did you seriously think that all of the servers would remain empty like yours? The incentives, the fact that other greedy people from other servers have snagged up a ton of plots for their own purposes. Welcome to the incentive S-E put out for these transfers. What was the outcome you were expecting? To snag another 20+ plots from Kugane when they are released and have some kind of Asian paradise where you can "admire all your hard work" - people like you and people who defend this kind of behavior still make me scratch my head to no ends on why you think doing this is OK or acceptable in any way. Square needs to step up and own this mistake but instead, they punish actual functional FCs because they have left jerks like you to their devices for their screw up and oversight.

The constant excuse of "Oh well the plots were freed up for years" does not openly invite you to circumvent Square-Enix's broken system. Or other greedy land owners for that matter.

Seriously, I'll go start you a "Go Fund Me" for the gated community mod for your exclusive ward and then present it to S-E so it'll keep the homeless rabble out and you two can stare lovingly at your empty houses.

Until someone from Square-Enix actually says or does something to address this, I'll still keep talking about it and hold S-E accountable until there's an address to the subject and a solution that will work in everybody's favor.
