It will be available under 'normal circumstances.' What Dustytome meant is that the feature that allows moving is going to be introduced at the same time as Shirogane's release, not that it will only be available for the new ward. There is still no word however, if it is going to only be available to FC houses or privately owned ones as well. SE has been keeping mum about that little detail.

Some people have jobs and other responsibilities and can't be at a crystal every hour on the hour like you can. It's not a fair system and it baffles me how you can argue that it is. None of this takes away from the fact that someone shouldn't have to camp a crystal in the first place. It's just stupid.

You want to be selfish and greedy? Go right ahead, no one is stopping you and you certainly aren't breaking any rules. You are still an asshole though.

Could you sound more like a pompous jerk?

Most of us don't sit at home, sitting on crystals on the hour like you can. It's called "adulting" - most of us have careers. Given your ignorant spoiled brat comments, you wouldn't know anything about what that is.

Minions and mounts are an unlimited source. Houses aren't by any means. Putting the two in the same category is a pretty inaccurate example.

I pretty much agree with Valinis. You might not be breaking any of Square Enix's broken rules when it comes to houses, but yeah, I share the same sentiments.

The problem with you is that you own many houses, but you are discouraging others by saying that developers should focus on -other things- besides housing. And you publicly claimed that housing is boring and you'd rather do raids and dungeons.

At this point, you are just getting more people who are going to antagonize for your negative attitude.

I never said housing was boring, why would I have so many houses if I found it boring?

And hey if they DIDN'T MAKE CONTENT to PLAY, we wouldn't have a game? Why SHOULD the devs stop working on raids and pvp (lol) to work on housing because people are literally not wanting to take the time to get a house?

You've got to consider the exact moment of time the player logged out and went afk for 45 day, on the hour. So, the house will be available exactly 45 days after they have logged out. Keep in mind maintenance times as well. And lesse here, people who are too busy 'adulting' to log in to keep their house from exploding? They will have logged out around ..maybe just after prime time, or during prime time. And since I have been at this for literal years, I can tell you I've seen more empty plots pop up around these perfectly accessible times, than during 2am+ hours. You can't be at every city crystal at once, however. So I heavily suggest in investing in some friends to help. Maybe some friends who are at home while you're at work too? Gee, it's almost like MMOs expect you to chat up other folks.

I've definitely never said the housing system is fair, either. I would ADORE instanced housing. I feel if you have the gil, you should have the house. But since that isn't the case, you HAVE TO put in extra effort. If you want it, you HAVE TO do it this way. Unless you want to pay a flipper, which I advise against.

How is this okay but two people buying and furnishing 28 plots on a recently dead server is suddenly crime of the century?
Also let me add a housing hello from Aegis too

I was wondering why you were so adamant about defending people who own dozens of homes, now I know why.

Hey, I just got my house on Balmung. I had the gil to buy it for months. You know how I got it? Luck. You know how you got yours? Luck. It wasn't hard work. Sitting at a crystal clicking over and over isn't hard work. lmao.

If we're talking about the houses on Mateus they aren't all furnished.

I never said I got mine with luck though. And idk, 3 aint that many. I know people with more, but they aren't so glaringly obvious about it and I really don't blame them for that.

You said you got yours with hard work, and that's simply not true, or no more true than anybody else trying to get a house. Plenty of people have worked hard, very hard, on Balmung to get the gil. Almost everyone I know that's looking for a house has the gil. They already put in the work. But they weren't lucky enough to be there when a plot was relinquished. How does that make them lazy about getting a house?

I'm sick of hearing about it. "You didn't work hard enough to get your house!" That's not the reality of it. The reality is that they simply weren't there at the right time. New wards got added and they couldn't get through the queue or got 90kd. The latest house to get relinquished got put up while they were at work, school, or asleep. You can't just say it was all hard work, because that is not the case on our server.

Oh, and you absolutely should feel guilty for owning 3 houses on a full server where housing is in high demand.

It simply is true. It requires hard work to mass the amount of gil I have. Check out old prices for the plots maybe? And the bare minimum of work to get a house, is to look at the crystal. No matter what. No matter when. Ward drop night, or on the hour every hour, it's just unrealistic to think every server will be like Mateus was years ago? There's never going to be empty plots sitting there waiting for people. I imagine IF they ever make 'infinite' wards, that open more when the houses fill, we'll see a lot of empty small plots and that'll be.. well a whole new issue.

And yeah, nah, not guilty even a little bit. Not even one shred of guilt. I've followed the rules. If your fc has a house, and you bought a house for yourself you should also feel guilty? Nope.
