How many people have multiple houses?

maybe I'm just being pessimistic here but I don't see the problem ever being fixed... People like the current system as well which further complicates matters since if you change it, you're gonna annoy them. There's no way for SE to please everyone here...

I can't see much being changed either, however I'm hoping with the new servers/data center they will at least be able to expand. This is very much a matter of do you please the few loyal fans or the many new ones, there is no right answer but if they alienate new/casual players to much they risk losing the bulk of their income. Now I don't think that this housing issue is going to be the main reason why people leave I think it's just one of many little things and you don't want players to feel like they can't access content in a subscription based game.
I've heard you can still get houses even in high pop servers if you camp the boards but there is a lot of contradicting information.
