Yeah well nowadays when I'm a DPS, LB would be nice but unless the fight is looking too close for comfort, who cares. Oh and don't waste your time/insult our intelligence by typing "LB". No shit, we know. Let the casters carpet bomb trash mobs with it instead or something.

I don't like LB at all you stand still for too long and most times end up tanking the floor after it goes off...As a healer/tank it doesn't bother me to see if go unused during dungeons it's not a big deal unless we have been in a dungeon way past 30mins

I'll only do it if the boss is about to die and I can afford to lose my stacks. Or maybe I've already lost them and I've got nothing more to lose. I dunno. I usually save it in case we might need it for healer LB3.

80% of the time I forget it's there if it isn't content that really needs it; the other 20% im paranoid if i even touch the button and it isn't the right situation I'll be yelled at, so I let the other DPS take it.

Edit: also, I'm also usually paranoid the healer will probably end up needing it, so rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it

I personally don't have a pressing need to use it in casual parties where I know the win is in the bag. On the other hand, in more hardcore trials that lb might be needed by the healer.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation given how quickly fights can go wrong.

DPS can tunnelvision and/or forget say if they usually main tank or heal.

And then some. Ugh.
My buddies always chuckle in TS because I forget about LB b/c it's so rare that I play DPS and even rarer that I am supposed to use it as a caster.

Ran Omega V3 with a friend, he was on Sam. Everything looks under control, Lb3 is up, so he uses it. Minutes later someone messes up a mechanic and we wipe. The healers both immediately start giving my friend shit about why he used Lb and that he should have saved it for the healers.
Next pull Lb3 fills up again, noone uses it, we clear the fight without using it. Healers start going on about what a waste it is and why no dps would use the Lb3.

So yeah, I believe that's why a lot of people rather don't use it.

The first dungeon I did in FF I was like "what's this limit break bar?" They told me it's to increase dps on boss fights. And not to touch it unless they said to. Then they told me to lb and I was clicking madly on the bar... Lol no one told me there was a spell to make it go off. They we're nice people and we laughed about it. Even if it was bad info. I don't think I have ever actually pressed the button though. I only recently found out it isn't only for dps.

If the final boss is at 10-15% and noone used the LB yet. I'll put "LB plz" in the chat. Usually that wakes up the DPS and they use it, most times. I dunno if they just aren't paying attention or are too afraid to use it for fear of getting chewed out.
