The situation with monk was as much linked with the drop in popularity of PLDs throughout Midas and Creator as it was any failings with the job itself. Once DRK MTs became the standard, Dragon Kick aka Monk's utility lost the value it once had.

Healers don't really synergise with specific jobs currently, so it's not nearly as severe a situation as Mnks were in.
