500 Gysahl Greens = 250 hoursYes cause I can use 500 in a day, no I'm not using that many I bought that many because I got sick of buying a handful at a time. I just have that inconvienance that shouldn't really be a thing but for whatever dumb reason they made a timer. Makes little sense to me and I'm merely ranting to get it off my chest and MAYBE just MAYBE some other people will agree and cause the devs to rethink this idea... wishful thinking and I doubt it will happen but one can hope.
You don't need that much during a single day, even if the Chocobo die every 10 minutes.
Just buy a single 99 stack, that is enough for 49.5 hours. If you play 5 hours each day and have always your companion on your side and never ride a mount and are always in the open world outside of cities, then it is still enough for 10 days.
Well its obvious people are completely missing the point I'm not going to bother re-explaining it since no one apparently cares about my frustration so I will simply stop talking. I get so tired of how people treat me when I attempt to post things like this *sigh* this is why I avoid people but whatever.

It would be nice if you could upgrade this stuff when your chocobo hits maximum level. Mine has been there a while and I miss working on the little guy. Also you need to carry additional stacks of buff food for it. And they are always complaining about the difficulties involved in increasing inventory space... so it would be beneficial to the game system too.
I'd like to have a special multi use gysahl greens. Harder to get but you don't have to buy more in the long run

How are you using 500 Greens per day? Short of actually withdrawing your companion from combat, they stay out for 30 minutes, so the maximum even playing 24/7 is a stack every 2 days.
Everybody is talking about the exaggerated amount the OP mentioned. What He is really trying to say that the current system never worked corrrectly. He wants SE to fix tgis problem because there is ptobably other people mindset like him seeing this as an issue.
You cannot use more than 48 per day unless you manually discuss your chocobo, and that's playing without sleep or mounting up!
I think it's fine.

Well, no you can't use 500 in a day, unless you summon and dismiss your chcocobo every ~3 minutes for 24 hours. I solo with my chocobo out constantly and I can't recall the last time I refilled the single stack I have. Travel on a mount suspends the timer, and half of soloing is traveling on a mount. I might use 4-5 in a play session if I am grinding hard. Not really seeing the issue with the timer from a time wasting/saving perspective. It's an extra 20-30 seconds per week...if you play hard every day for like 8 hours per day ad all of that is FATE/quest soloing.
Yeah, that needs moved to the top of the Square Enix priority list for FF14 fixes. No doubt.![]()
I wouldn't be against getting rid of the greens and simply being able to summon my chocobo whenever I wanted for however long I wanted. One less inventory slot constantly taken. At the same time, it doesn't bother me. I don't really care about my chocobo.
