I really wish they would either drop the chocobo timer or if they aren't willing to budge at least increase the time you can have your chocobo out... I really hate having to carry 500+ gysahl greens to make sure I don't have to constantly go buying new ones simply because I can only have my chobobo out for 30 minutes? That is silly to anyone I don't care how die hard loyal you are it's silly.

Basically what I'm saying is, there is no logical reason to have a timer for your chocobo... The ONLY reason I can think of is that some sort of technological issue that they can't have many choco's out at one time, but I mean the game has been out for a while now. If we go back to WoW, I'm only using this as a technological reference only the game is garbage, after a certain point they introduced phase shifting which on a basic level was a very nice addition to a significantly older game like that. They can find a way to adapt why can't the SE devs? I get this game has had a very rocky start and there are limitations due to how the engine works, but you are telling me they can't adapt the engine to work around certain things?

Would be nice to have the timer increased to an hour or simply using Gysahl Greens twice for double time (Just like food).

Maybe the devs can add a new chocobo vegetable that reset the timer

You use more the a stack in couple days? Also if you jump on a mount when not doing combat the timer pauses.

Yes cause I can use 500 in a day, no I'm not using that many I bought that many because I got sick of buying a handful at a time. I just have that inconvienance that shouldn't really be a thing but for whatever dumb reason they made a timer. Makes little sense to me and I'm merely ranting to get it off my chest and MAYBE just MAYBE some other people will agree and cause the devs to rethink this idea... wishful thinking and I doubt it will happen but one can hope.

I just don't think its that big of an issue at this point, but I get your concern.

500 Gysahl Greens = 250 hours
You don't need that much during a single day, even if the Chocobo die every 10 minutes.
Just buy a single 99 stack, that is enough for 49.5 hours. If you play 5 hours each day and have always your companion on your side and never ride a mount and are always in the open world outside of cities, then it is still enough for 10 days.

How are you using 500 Greens per day? Short of actually withdrawing your companion from combat, they stay out for 30 minutes, so the maximum even playing 24/7 is a stack every 2 days.
