i am so sick of the storage browsing problem in this game

look SE yall got one of the best MMOs of all time and imma letchu finish but im not gonna pull any punches when i say storage navigation in this game is an absolute trainwreck and nightmare

there HAS to be a better way to navigate our storages because this is just ridiculous. why isn't there an option when you access 1 retainer to be able to access all retainer inventories simultaneously and spread everything out over 1 screen so it is easy to sort what you want and don't want? even if you couldn't move things in those retainer inventories you are not actively accessing but you could see what was in the inventories of multiple retainers while viewing another retainer's inventory, that would be extremely helpful

i want to get it sorted but at the same time while i am looking at like, what, 20 items at a time? makes my head want to explode. i have a lot of praise for this game but this is one of the worst UI/Interface design choices I have ever seen

my suggestion? research the bagnon addon from world of warcraft and adapt your storage interface options to something similar.

and by similar I mean identical

the addon lets you adjust how many rows and columns are displayed on the window and lets you view a snapshot of all your inventories based on the information it received from the last time you accessed them but honestly i'd settle for just being able to access all retainer inventories at once with an enlarged window

There is an option to have 4 panes displayed at once which is a great help. Still need to switch between two tabs on each retainer but better than 20 at a time for sure.

I also think the retainers need a search function. The one they've added to the crafting menus is great where it tells you if you have the items but then finding it can be challenging. I recently found that I had 2 sub-99 stacks of the same exact HQ item were on different pages.

But seriously, look into the larger display. It is great.

This is what i do, too.
Every retainer get specific types of items. If I need something I know already which Retainer should have it before I even call him.

SE ahould just add a bank system like every other mmo. Keep retainers for ventures, selling items, and nothing more.
