Status effect description and combat description.

Love patch so far but miss the fact that i cant see what the effect of thing is.
Like for example, i blinded but it just an icon with no description , same with attacks , did they have text before because now i confused what each action i taking is doing in combat.

hover your mouse over it for a second, the tooltip will pop up.

i use a game pad alot so could try that but used to game pad unless ive turned tooltip off by accident , just saw other thread.

I use a gamepad as well - a PS2 controller in fact. I have it set so hitting the Select button places my cursor on the widget where my buffs/debuffs appear. This allows me to check their tooltips without requiring the use of a mouse.

It should be an option when setting up controller in FFXIV Config.

wish we could check effects on enemies too ... we can se their buffs, but not read em etc.
