    Have a little empathy for those whose jobs got crushed.

    You know, I was lucky. My job has been good since I started playing. It never really dawned on me how those 3.0 AST/PLD felt, or the poor BRD's that saw their class identitiy destroyed in front of their eyes.

    Now I get it. I understand. I beg those of you who now have a great place in the meta, have a touch of sympathy for those not so lucky when they complain on their respective forums.

    Hyperbole aside, SE please fix the broken classes in 4.05 with some care and respect.

    Just out of curiosity, what Job's do everyone think need an IMMEDIATE fix and why?

    I know MCH needs it real bad.
    High skill cap for absolutely nothing in return.
    The DPS is weak, almost always has been.
    They are kinda toe and toe with BRD damage but BRD has Party buffs going 24/7.
    They need to do what they did to SAM.
    Give them pure DPS and no utility or something and make it a true physical range DPS I guess.

    I would say rdm needs a slight reduction to dps as it seemingly outstrips its fellow supports MCH , and BRD. They need to adjust the lilly mechanics for whm they seem a bit off in terms of dependability. DRK and WAR need some tweaking to their mitigation. That is all i really see at the moment but nothing is stifling or obnoxious save maybe the WHM lillys.

    Monk here. Riddle feels absolutely awful. It's like punching under water. It's really, really changed how monk feels / plays and I'm pretty devastated by it. Since they also took away our dot management, then chucked on the slow debuff that is riddle, plus give us a "party buff" that we barely benefit from, I don't see any reason why anyone would continue to play this class. It's slow, clunky, and just completely not fun anymore. The slow plodding 1, 2, 3 that the rotation has turned into feels especially useless and dull compared to the ninki gage management of Ninja and weak against Samurai.

    I suddenly realise how 3.0 bards feel. To have mained and loved a job for so long then have the guts torn out of it is really hard.

    The worst part about Brotherhood as well is if you have another monk in your group and they just overwrite your brotherhood with theirs. Then you're basically screwed. I mean that isn't an issue for Savage but casual and daily content, it's pretty awful.

    Scholar. The class has lost its identity and I don't mean on the DPS side. SCH was the mitigation healer. They had less powerful heals and fewer recovery tools because they were supposed to prevent the damage with well-timed abilities. Now those shields have been weakened, and so has the support the fairy provided and SCH still doesn't have the same recovery tools. MP was also something a SCH never had to worry about, and I've been a bit shocked by the MP issues that have arisen when playing mine.

    My main is whm and for the most part (excluding PI) I am thrilled with how it's doing.

    From what I've heard, scholar, machinist and summoner all need some help.

    I agree. I love my white mage. I never run out of manna...and this is soooo refreshing in raids and trials. Pop assize with three lotus and *POOF* 8500 manna comes back...and the cool down is so short

    Yea, with SCH, the new skills just feel boring.

    New Damage ability

    Aetherflow skill that is a +50 potency from Lustrate but you apply it to a target in which if their HP reaches under a certain % it goes off

    Ability which increases chance to critical Hit a Target

    Trait which gives you a low chance of reducing cooldown on Aetherflow by 10 seconds

    Tether Pet to a target

    Out of all those, the only one I like to an extent is the new Aetherflow ability Excogitation, the way I use it is as some breathing room to apply Buffs and maybe Bane them, granted I know the potency of those was destroyed when using Bane, but it still feels nice to use.

    The new Damage ability is alright but when you look at the other three they just feel dull.

    A Support ability that only does 1 thing.

    A trait witha low chance of going off/having any influence on a fight

    A tether ability that imitates a "Regen" like state towards a target.

    If the tether did more, that would be nice, but it's gimmick is pretty much a regen initated by the pet which disables the use of the pet in any other manner.

    If I were to redo the Aetherflow trait, I'd go from "When using Energy, 20% chance that you gain a "free" use to any other Aetherflow related ability that isn't Energy Drain with an additional effect added to it. Maybe that could be more fun than 20% chance to reduce cooldown of Aetherflow.

    Instead you could have

    Lustrate 800 potency

    Sacred Soil 100% chance next Succor will cost 0 MP

    Indomitability, erects barrier with half potency of cure

    Excogitation Replaces heal with a 100 potency that remains until Target's HP is lowered to 50% or duration wears off.

    Something like that could make that trait more fun, since you could use Energy Drain to gain back some MP but also have the chance to gain an extra effect off an Aethflow based ability.

    With Chain Strategem maybe instead of just a boost to crit, it applies a boost based on the duration of the SCH's DoT while also removing said DoTs but the DoTs will overwrite the effect. So let's say the crit is still there but Bio and Miasma can also add an effect. Let's say, -5% dmg dealt and +5% dmg taken. Maybe to balance it more it could take half the duration of Bio/Miasma and apply the new effect so a 28second Bio will be replaced witha 14 second -5% dmg dealt and a 24 seconds Miasma would be replaced with a 12 second + 5% dmg taken. At least then it would feel a bit more strategic.

    Maybe even involve Sacred Soil it wouldn't reduce the timer on that ability but instead if Chain Strategem is used while Sacred Soil is out it converts the shield into a Debuff maybe another +5% dmg taken, seeing as it needs an aetherflow stack to use, it would be a decent balance in terms of activating it.

    Overall it would at least add more depth to those abiltiies but I will admit I don't know if those numbers are balanced in any way, they are just ideas as to how they could implement those two 60+ abilities in a way that could be of more use to SCH.

    This is true, WHM is in a very good spot, been my main for over 5 years. The only skill I feel that need more work is PI, it has a good idea behind it, but I feel it need more love. I say make it a Aoe skill, and make the confessions stack for any heal done to a target. This will make PI much more usefull.

    In all I say..
    Give PI a higher CD timer and make it a Aoe, well making confession stacks something every heal a WHM done, not just Cure.also take the countdown timer off of confession stacks. (Like a bigger Cure 3 with a long CD timer that can only be used with PI and Stacks)

    It will make you save it for big o shit Aoe heal when everyone is to far away for cure 3 and you NEED TO TOP OFF ASAP. Sure we have a few good Aoe alrdy, but not a power house o shit one, on the same LV as cure 3. We don't need more single target power heals, we have like 4-5 -__-

    After all WHM is the Aoe/hot healer of the game,
