He didn't promised that. He said the earliest it could happen was 5.0. Also when they actually start thinking about this seriously they will probably realize they can't just remove classes easily. If all the ARR jobs star at level 1, that means redoing a bunch of class/job quests. So instead, they will just still have you still start as a CNJ, but you then get a permanent name change to white mage at level 30. And then the soul crystal inventory space could be removed. As for SCH, they would probably just make it a job that is on its own and it starts at level 30 like the DRK, AST and MCH.
