Thread: The Problem of Hunts and early pulling in 4.0

It's impossible to wait for everyone to come because there will always be ONE person who missed out.
It's called a HUNT for a reason. It's not a gathering party for the entire server.
I mean, I'm just happy people will often times TELL you if a mark recently died or if it's up yet
out of of kindness. Same ordeal we been had that will never go away or change.

I remember the sheer amount of toxicity that came with the release of hunts.
People would change servers, witchunted and get nasty tells because they pulled. -Shudders-

Every year I think the thread won't return and every time I hunt after taking a break from it I find myself still surprised at people being upset about "early pulling." Been playing the game since beta 4 and I'll still never understand what the hell early pulling even means.

We legit have a dude on our Server who's know by pretty much everyone, by name, to be the guy who pulls the second he gets there. I've missed plenty of hunts myself and I'll never ever understand the child-like obsession with "damn early pullers!!"

This is much less the case now that PS3 limitations are gone but I remember people saying why can't you just wait for everyone and I was always like, the mob disappears from the screen when you play on the console once enough people are there. Hell, even doing Ixion now so many people show up you see DC symbols all over the place and everyone lags out of their mind. That's what happens when you "wait for everyone to get there." You still miss out.

That he does! He's been doing it since the hunts were invented.

I was at a hunt waiting for other people to show up, he was there. One of the people in my FC called him out saying "please don't pull early"...instant pull. Everyone else from the FC yelled at the one who called him out, as the guy was literally STANDING STILL before anyone of us showed up there, and there was already 10-15 people there before us.

The coummunity waiting is an incentive not a priviledge.
