The problem is SE depends on the player base to show each other common human decency. That said the mobs are free game they aren't really doing anything wrong even if they are being buttholes about it.

So, as a funny story kinda related, I joined a full party for the fox fate and people were super nice and patient to not trigger the fate until everyone was there. Right before we were going to activate, the fate disappeared because we took too long, LOL!!! About 60 of us were like "well... that sucks."
Wow...I honestly haven't had anyone mention something like that. Sorry all of you missed it, but it goes to show that some people are willing to wait for others to get there before pulling(isn't the timer on the thing 30min? If so, that's a bit too long to wait imo). So, as a funny story kinda related, I joined a full party for the fox fate and people were super nice and patient to not trigger the fate until everyone was there. If people want clusters bad enough, get out there and hunt yourself for the marks and put the time in... I don't understand how this is such a hard concept. Everyone wants their entitled reward but just wants to do other things while other people actively look/stumble upon them running around in the zones/perform tasks that pop them.
You can't have it both ways unless, as I previously stated, you are fortunate/fast enough to get their and put some work in before it dies. If you didn't make it in time, suck it up and go back to doing whatever you were doing or actually start taking the time to be the first or one of the first to find them. The whining about hunts dying too soon is the result of people's false sense that they deserve the kill merely because they received a shout/ls message saying it was up. Sorry but you don't.
It really doesn't get any simpler than that.
Ah yes the obligatory "I'm SALTY because I came late to the hunt and only got partial credit" hunt thread has arrived at last.
There is the daily hunts that will help you pick the grade 6 materia you want. Though it will take longer as it take 400 Centurio Seals to get 1. BUT, you can also use the HW hunts to increase your daily intake of seals.
I personally use the daily hunts as a way to help get those materia faster, and just in case I don't make it to the A/S rank on time due to load times/not seeing it called out.*Fails to see where I complained that I missed a hunt, as I stated that I use those other methods to get centurio seals in case I missed the call/got there late...as in I moved on and didn't bother saying anything along the lines of "damn early pulls, they all need to die in hellfire"*If people want clusters bad enough, get out there and hunt yourself for the marks and put the time in... I mean honestly, they could just kill the target and never tell anyone they saw it. Most of ARR can be solo'd now, as it is I only announce to my FC and if none interested then I inform the LS.
I really just wish they would make hunts open tag... I always hated games that counts groups as a whole towards credit which just screws over people who want to be grouped with a few friends or not at all. If you participate enough, you should get full credit. It doesn't foster or create a more social environment...you get people spamming INV in shout, you group, you kill the hunt, and then everyone leaves. Totally pointless.
As others have said, early pulling is not a thing. If you want to Hunt, get out there with a party and find your own hunts. That way, you'll be sure to get credit.
Maybe we can ask the community managers to put a sticky up there on the top of the forum...Do we really need another thread about this? There is no such thing as early pulling. It's first come first serve. That is how it's set up and how it's meant to work. The best thing you can do is join a hunt group or camp for the ones you want.
Yes some people are nice enough to wait and they are awesome, but there are a lot who are selfish and won't wait. There is nothing to be done, as this is how hunts are supposed to work.
'There is no such thing as an "Early Pull" - offically.'
