I hate when LS hunts think they got power to name and shame the early pullers.
Found a hunt MYSELF. Took the time to wait for people arrive for 5 min. I pulled it and got name and shamed. Well i BL that dude:T

I'm on Siren too. I do a lot of hunts and I know about a certain FC that likes to pull them quickly. I don't think it's a big deal that they pull fast (I'm usually already there when they pull). Your best bet is to look for the hunts yourself or with a hunting party. If you have a hunt LS, you need to go to the location as soon as it is relayed.
To my amusement, I've seen this FC try to pull quickly on Stormblood hunts, and often, they end up dying.
There is a toxic FC that is responsible for most of the early pulling on Siren. Hunts were fun before many of the problematic people returned after re-subbing. I've personally decided not to do hunts anymore. It's not worth the negativity. Shame there aren't other avenues for some things like speed boosts but guess what i can live without them.
Well 4.0 hunts hit like trucks and have high HP pools, so if somebody early pulls let them die...
If the problem is a small group of people hunting them, I'd say they are very commited because props to them for spending 15 minutes hitting a dummy for 20 verity.
people pulled hunts wayyy before 4.0 You just have to be at the right place at the right time
Report them for breaking TOS by using a 3rd party program. Chances are very high that the early pullers are using a program that tells them where hunt mobs are as soon as they spawn. You'll never know if the GMs take action against those people, but it will make you feel better.
You say that, but with hunts being the only reasonable way of getting the grade 6 materia you want, I don't think this line of thinking applies to 4.0. Moreover, you only lost 3 stats if you used grade 4 vs. grade 5 in HW. Now it's a 28 point loss on grade 5 vs. grade 6. You could say that they've incentivized hunts more than ever.Yes, this is a non-issue as far as SE is concerned. Hunts were never intended for people to create linkshells and call everyone out to them before killing. It's supposed to be players hunting them down and killing in groups making the effort to actually, you know, HUNT for the mobs.
There is the daily hunts that will help you pick the grade 6 materia you want. Though it will take longer as it take 400 Centurio Seals to get 1. BUT, you can also use the HW hunts to increase your daily intake of seals. You say that, but with hunts being the only reasonable way of getting the grade 6 materia you want, I don't think this line of thinking applies to 4.0. I personally use the daily hunts as a way to help get those materia faster, and just in case I don't make it to the A/S rank on time due to load times/not seeing it called out.
Or, perhaps there are websites that list spawn locations, trackers as to when a particular mob was last killed (aka manual tracker with built in timer), and they're actually... and this is a heavy thought, doing the hunting.Report them for breaking TOS by using a 3rd party program.
