Well of course you aren't bothered by it as much as the 7 other people in your group. I outright REFUSE to group with Summoners until that thing receives changes.

Sounds like you are blaming Summoners for your lack of awareness. I haven't had an issue with Bahamut, either my own or another player's.
The only problem I would say he has is being unable to use any pet commands on him. His size is fine, he just need to be able to be placed somewhere.
That doesn't make sense- awareness is knowing your surroundings... which is being blocked. I've had issues with SMN as well in situations where I haven't before.
I just don't understand why people feel that the equivalent of a hand in your face doesn't obscure your vision of mechanics. Is it so much to ask for that others don't want to see your dragon?

It is actually somewhat important to be able to see Bahamut. He has a healthbar and can die to mechanics, so knowing where he is so you don't nuke him with damage (some things can actually hurt pets) has value. Like I said before, being able to place him would be more helpful than just hiding him from others. That doesn't make sense- awareness is knowing your surroundings... which is being blocked.
