    War opener?

    Tomahawk, eye combo, infuriate,upheaval, IB, BB combo, path combo, path combo, eye combo.
    Defiance, BB combo, Path combo,berserk, inner release, BB combo, fell cleave dream?
    Thinking infuriate should be back up for the dream.

    Yea that seems too perfect world and long

    It's crazy complicated but definitely better than sitting on berserk/infuriate for 30 sec to build a full gauge a do hexaFC

    If I'm tanking I do:

    Overpower (more enmity than Tomahawk) -> Eye Combo
    Heavy Swing -> Onslaught -> Skull Sunder -> Butcher's Block -> Upheaval
    Switch to Deliverance + Infuriate
    Path Combo -> Eye Combo
    Heavy Swing -> Inner Release + Berserk
    Fell Cleave -> Maim -> Path -> Upheaval
    Fell Cleave x 3
    Heavy Swing -> Maim -> Onslaught before IR ends
    Back to Defiance (or not, up to you/your healers/your agro)

    If I'm not tanking:

    Heavy Swing + Infuriate -> Eye Combo
    Heavy Swing -> Upheaval -> Maim -> Onslaught -> Path
    Butcher's Block Combo -> Path Combo -> Eye Combo
    Heavy Swing -> IR + Berserk -> Fell Cleave -> Maim -> Path -> Upheaval
    Fell Cleave x 3
    Infuriate
    Fell Cleave x 2

    For OT openers 4xcleave > 6xcleave. Just takes too long to build the rage and delays zerk and IR too long.
    HS - Infuriate - Maim - eye
    HS - maim - path
    HS - Zerk/IR - FC - upheaval - FC - maim - path - FC - FC

    This helps a lot as I was put off playing/leveing up WAR Tank because I did not know the optimal rotation set. Thanks whoever put this up.

    Edited my post above slightly to change when to use FC after the 2nd berserk window so that you FC at max gauge for a better chance at a crit. Otherwise I believe this is the best opener. I'm pulling numbers around 3kdps on lakshmi and susano with this opener and my strategies for maintaining berserks after it. Still makes me wonder why it's so doom and gloom around here saying War is dead.

    While I don’t understand people who say Warriors suck now, I do understand where they’re coming from with regards to certain aspects. For instance, switching from tank stance so that you can deal some extra damage feels pretty crappy at the moment. ESPECIALLY when PLD and DRK can pull it off a lot smoother. This is getting reflected by people who say switching stances should have lesser penalties to the Beast Gauge.

    Onslaught isn’t totally useless, but it is a waste of Beast Gauge and the only reason I include it in my rotation is because I kept ending up with some extra before starting to Fell Cleave. This would be easier to swallow if the other two tanks didn’t get awesome and useful new skills.

    Likewise, Shake It Off is USELESS! Same as Onslaught, it feels unfair seeing as how the other two tanks received something useful instead of this.

    Those are really the only real complaints people are having. People who are crying about damage just need to adapt. Some people will say that because Warriors don’t have as much utility, that they should be dealing the most damage. I don’t feel that’s too much of an issue, unless it turns out their damage is WAY lower than the other tanks.

    BTW, I’ve yet to see myself outdamaged in Susano/Lakshmi by either PLD or DRK. I’m just going based off of what people are saying the other two tanks can do.

    Shake It Off isn't completely useless...but at the moment it definitely feels like it is. We've yet to see raid content so hopefully it could provide some advantage to the group (like healer not needing to slot Esuna) I usually don't consider 4man and world content when critiquing abilities, but even in that content Shake It Off can be useful but feels kind of useless because it only really helps if I made a mistake and get hit by something. I don't want an ability that is only rarely useful when I make a mistake.
