Strange emplacement for Aging Archaeologist NPC

NPC Name: Aging Archaeologist

Steps:

1. Activated "Raiders of the Lost Archaeologist" Company Leve (Order of the Twin Adder) by the designated NPC near Treespeak aetherial node.
2. Made my way to designated Area and Coordinates (see above) and located NPC "Aging Archaeologist".
3. Found said NPC standing on the log of a tree above the ground. See screenshot below for details (it's a bit difficult for me to explain...)

On a side note, I could cast enhancement and healing spells on the NPC without any problem at all and I could complete the Company Leve aswell. It's just it looked odd for me.
