Yaten and Gaten would like a word with you...Do you prefer slow but steady, or flipping all over the place?
With Samurai you get some flashy sword skills, but your character doesn't really move all that much.
With Ninja, you flip around, kick, spin, teleport strike, etc.
DPS-wise, people are saying SAM is superior to all others.
Also, SAM AoE is super flashy, as he becomes a blender of doom, spinning through the mobs.
Go for Ninja. They have very high DPS and super raid utility. As a Ninja, I out DPS Samurai's all the time in party finder.
I do like both, for different reasons, but ninja comes out on top for me. More interesting abilities on top of bringing utility while doing adequate damage. Maybe not as much damage as a good SAM, but I believe the utility makes up for that.
...plus frog! XD
Yeah I think I just have to level both at least past 62, how long does it take to level a 2nd job (im new) to 70? I think ill take sam to 70 first then nin and make a more informed decision.
Like other people have said Ninja has cool abilities but since my only characters are both 50 I miss out on the main selling points of both classes![]()
Pretty sure NIN is the god dps class. It's always had one of the most powerful raid dps utility tools, good personal dps and synergy with the tanks.Do you prefer slow but steady, or flipping all over the place?

NIN is like, the one ubiquitous job in all progression/endgame/speedrunning content since like 2.5, no?
I know this was true for Midas, for Creator and I believe for 2.4/5 too. Not sure about Gordias, but I'm guessing it was also the case.
Hmm if it's that strong maybe I'll do Nin first then sam second.Pretty sure NIN is the god dps class. It's always had one of the most powerful raid dps utility tools, good personal dps and synergy with the tanks.

Ninjas are more needed than samurai in raids
And in terms of value; Ninja > Samurai.
(You could also say Ninja > All)
