PS4 Constant Disconnect Temp Solution

Thanks to Jozu, we PS4 players who are having DC problems and are stucked somewhere unable to play, now we have the solution (until SE get it fixed)

-DNS Settings (set to Manual)

Great work Jozu. And good thinking creating a thread to share the info. At least I have something to look forward to when I next try to log in.

It's a shame the community has to find a fix. I fail to see how SE couldn't of known of this temp fix somehow with all their "engineers". It's annoying that I had recently returned and bought the expansion (therefore somewhat invested as having spent money). Once the game play is complete I don't think I'll stick around after this debacle.

Can confirm, South American Ps4 Pro player here(Brazil), I was indeed able to get out of Quarryhell, seems to be alright, didn't try any dungeons, will update when I try, thanks for the tip OP and Jozu.

Edit: Just did a leveling roulette with my BLM, worked just fine.

This also worked for me, more than being able to escape, I was then able to do the Omega instance with no issues.

Thanks BlazinHart for creating a thread! No problem guys,just helping the community but this is just a temp fix.SE still needs to get this issue fixed.

*EDIT*I forgot to mention I did a dungeon like 20 minutes ago and no DC!

in a dungeon now will let everyone know how it ends and if it dc

Edit: after changing settings like written in the above post, all went fine had no d/c's at all or no latency problems probably we are up to some change

Not sure but i think is the mtu that fix it, because i had that dns before
