I have gtx1080 and game keeps freezing up then disconnecting me. Started after today's maintenance.

I mentioned in a previously moved thread that, after suffering a couple of crashes and a straight up DirectX failure that resulted in my video card having to "reboot" itself, I finally updated the drivers to my AMD card and I'd report back as to whether or not I suffer any more crashes afterwards.
Since that initial post, my game HAD been running just fine with no problems until right now when I suffered another one of those minor, "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting Final Fantasy XIV." crashes yet again. Unsure if this is related to a graphics card issue or not as of yet, but I figured I might as well report in to note that, even with updated drivers, I've experienced yet another crash.

Bumping my own post here to state that I just now suffered a total hang of my computer which forced me into doing a hard shutdown in order to resolve it. Problem is most certainly not fixed on my end.I mentioned in a previously moved thread that, after suffering a couple of crashes and a straight up DirectX failure that resulted in my video card having to "reboot" itself, I finally updated the drivers to my AMD card and I'd report back as to whether or not I suffer any more crashes afterwards.

ATI users recently got a fix released from AMD after complaining for months on their forums. I suggest putting in tickets and post on the nvidia forums to get some action
