Ah yeah. Well he was able to hold the aggro of bosses. I dont think thats way to hard in low level dungeons... The only thing which annoyed me is that he didnt want to listen or respond. Ps4 player and no keyboard aside, he could of atleast write "ik" or switch to shield oath, instead of pulling non stop monster groups. edit: I added another note to the picture in the post.

Look, while I know it can certainly be frustrating there is something to consider here: This could simply be someone playing on console who, for them, this is their first MMO they've ever played. Hell, I don't know about you but every console game I've played online, you eventually end up with someone on your team who is drunk/high/doesn't care in the slightest when it comes to the actual objectives or gameplay. But beyond that, you just end up with folks that want to chill, play their way, and not talk to anyone.

This could very well just be someone who bought the game to play for fun like they would play any other game. And they couldn't care less that people are talking(and pay no attention to the chatbox as I don't either if I log onto some online shooter or something. I have other things to do). And even if they did look, they don't know what a 'tank' is because that term means nothing without the context of MMO terminology.

there have been plenty of console mmo since the ps2... And the hall of novice explains what each role does. there is 0 excuse, even for a new to mmo player to not know mmo terms. even solo rpg have tanks, healers and dps. final fantasy being a staple of that.

heck this my first mmo and even i knew what tank meant. my gf started playing mmo since ff11 on ps2 and she knew what tank meant.

Aside from some points others have made: i.e a bot, cant see the chat, or is a ps4 player without a keyboard etc. Have any of us considered that this could possibly be one of our younger payers? We know the exist, and they play the game as well. Not making excuses for this person, but we should also consider that this may very well be a child as well. Just my 2 cents.
